Due to a dramatic increase of requests to add sites in our directory, WE WERE FORCED TO TEMPORARILY SHUT DOWN this online suggestion form (Add URL or Añadir URL). Most of the suggested links were from websites that were totaly irrelevant for our purposes, that is, to provide a directory of Web sites that have some relevant information about our country, people, culture, businesses, etc.

Instead, we had received suggestions of mostly pornographic and businesses sites that have nothing to do with our Peruvian culture. We have received an average of about 100 of these type of sites a day, and not even one of two of these sites were about Peru or from business that operate in Peru. It takes lots of time to review these sites, and therefore we are forced to cancel this suggestion box indefinitely.

We request that you write your suggestions in either English or Spanish only. We understand these two languages only. In the future, any other languages (e.g. French, German, Japanese, etc.) will be translated using a computer-assisted translation (CAT) system.

We prefer that you write your description in English if (and only if) you are fluent in this language. That's our first choice. If you are not a good English writer, then a Spanish-written description of your site will work for us. If you are absolutely fluent in these two languages, please write the following suggestions in both English and Spanish. This will save us time to review and approve your site.

At the end of your email body, we are also requesting a sentence explaining us how do you feel that this site is relevant to Peru? Examples:

• This is from a Peruvian business or from a foreign business that has nothing less than an OFFICE or FACTORY in Peru.
  
• This website talks about a particular soccer team from Peru.
  
• This is a home page of a Peruvian national living in the United States.
  
• This is a website from a Latin American site with SIGNIFICANT information about Peru.

These are, of course, only examples. You can use your own writing style to write us one or two sentences explaining us why do you feel that your website should be listed in our Peruvian directory. Thanks,
